杵屋 五司葵
KINEYA         GOSHIKI

Born July 30, 2002, in Tokyo.

She began studying Japanese dance at the age of three under Hanayagi Michino,

and has been familiar with traditional Japanese culture since childhood.

From the first grade of elementary school, she studied Nagauta shamisen under Kineya Goshiro, and from the second year of high school, she studied Nagauta under Kineya Katsumaki,

and has continued to hone her skills.

In 2021, she entered the Department of Traditional Japanese Music at Tokyo University of the Arts.

While still a student, she performed in concerts and various events,

and in 2023, with permission from the head of the Kineya Gosaburo school,

she was granted the name Kineya Goshiki.

After graduating from university, and after a year of training,

she became a member of the Nagauta Toonkai and is also active as Toon Mimura Aoi.

 

As a member of the Nagauta Association, she dedicates herself to the preservation of classical music,

and participates in the Hakata Dontaku festival every year,

and widely disseminates the charm of Japanese culture.

 

She also holds recitals, taking on the responsibility of planning and performing herself, actively creating new avenues for her activities.

She has appeared in the NHK Taiga drama "Berabou" and performed both domestically and internationally, and is active in a wide range of media and events beyond the stage.

She challenges herself with contemporary music such as J-POP, as well as classical music, and is also engaged in composition, including providing music for "Kyoto Yosakoi Ren Kokoroiki."
